Mike has over 30 years of club and concert experience playing virtually every style of music.  Originally from Ohio, Mike came to San Diego via the US Navy.  Mike has played guitar since he was a child and took up the Bass as a teen.  Weather it is pop, jazz, rock, country, big band, or even heavy metal, Mike has played it all.  Mike has played with some popular local bands including playing with Alex in Brew Dogs.  Mike keeps the tight bottom bass groove which gives Slight Return it's famous danceability.
